They learned that the warring parties in the crisis had decided to come up with a long-term solution to the crisis. They decided to create a curriculum that would be taught to the children of the future generations. Daniel Taub and his Palestine counterpart embraced this move and recommended that it be used in the Israeli-Palestine peace agreement deal.
After presenting it to the committee of expert’s leading the peace negotiations, it was approved and a curriculum was developed. It was to be taught in school in both countries. After two years, Palestine backtracked on the peace agreement and the curriculum was dropped.
Daniel Taub believes that peace in the Middle East can be realized if countries obeyed the peace agreements that have been passed. He talks of Israeli as one country which has tried as much as possible to remain loyal to the peace agreements.
He says there are a number of peace agreements that are still in existence between Israel and other nations. He talks of the agreements between Israeli and Egypt as one agreement that has been respected by the two parties.
